Woman Slams Surprisingly ‘Tiny’ and ‘Insulting’ Engagement Ring After 8 Years With Partner [PIC]

A Reddit shared on Monday, has elicited a LOT of opinions so far from people who could hardly believe their eyes.

“This is the ring he said he saved up to buy me,” the woman wrote. “Am I being shady or materialistic if I tell this mf ion want this little a– ring?”

Not sure if this belongs here or not, but is this lady justified in that she doesn’t want the ring? Would you accept it? from r/weddingshaming

Not gonna lie. I’d be more concerned about his “saving up” to buy something that little. Simply because it shows that a wedding is probably not in the budget.

That is the saddest ring I’ve ever seen. I’m not materialistic person, but it just doesn’t even look good. She should talk to him if she’s unhappy with it?

When the ring is the issue, the ring is not the issue.

Honestly, I’m with her on this. You can get affordable rings that don’t look like they came out of the little dispenser machine next to the stickers and gumballs at Cici’s Pizza.

Even with a small budget he could have gotten something that won’t immediately snap if it gets snagged, and I wouldn’t trust that jewel setting to last more than a week with every day wear.

Where do you stand? Is it the thought that counts? Or does she have reason to be upset?
