Since HBO Max announced this past week that ‘Friends’ was officially making a comeback, it made me start to think of some of the greatest TV Shows of all-time, but not only that. The greatest Theme Songs to those Television Shows of ALL-TIME.
I think when you talk about the best of the best, you have to break it up into eras of Television. But the majority of the TV Theme Songs you are going to thing about are oldies that still stand the test of time to this day. That is what makes this question so fascinating.
I look at my top shows of all-time and they aren’t necessarily accompanied by a GREAT Theme Song. Here are some of my favorite Theme Songs of all-time. ‘The Jeffersons’, ‘Andy Griffith’ ‘The Addams Family’, ‘Family Matter’, ‘Step by Step’, ‘Game of Thrones’, and ‘The Sopranos’…
But My ALL-Time Favorite is ‘Gilligan’s Island’ (Check it out down below)
Now that you know my favorite Theme Songs of all-time. Check out some of your favorites. Do you agree with the suggestions? What songs would you add to the list?
Let us know what you think over on twitter @BigRedRadio973!

Many Late Night Talk Show segments have been spun-off into shows of their own, “Carpool Karaoke” and “Lip Sync Battle” to name a few, but I think I just discovered the next BIG THING in Late Night Television. It’s Called “Maybe Coming Soon” and it is a segment where Stephen Colbert: host of ‘The Late Show with Stephen Colbert’ and his guest makeup plots for various movies they are “allegedly in”. Now John Oliver is no stranger to the comedy talk show market, he is the host of his own show ‘Last Week Tonight’ on HBO. The two comedy greats had some fun messing around with some great plot points, that’ll have you crackin’ up!
<iframe width=”560″ height=”315″ src=”https://www.youtube.com/embed/VOEn0nDxvoI” frameborder=”0″ allow=”accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture” allowfullscreen></iframe>
I haven’t been the biggest watcher of ‘The Late Show’ since Letterman retired, but this segment rejuvenated my love of late night comedy talk shows. There used to be Late Night Wars, but I love that all the late night hosts; Fallon, Kimmel, Colbert, Corden, etc. have great relationships with each other. If they all succeed it’s great for the genre of Late Night television.
YouTube is a great avenue for all and whether you prefer one over the other, you can always get a taste of what you may be missing. In this instance, I was missing an incredible bit by one of the greatest comedians on television. Who’s your favorite ‘LATE NIGHT” host?
Today is one of my favorite days of the year, not only is it a Sunday and I’m on the radio, and also not just because it’s my 3 month anniversary, but because it’s NATIONAL PIZZA DAY! I can guarantee you that I will be one of many devouring a pizza tonight for dinner as I sit down to watch The Oscars on ABC, and it is going to be just glorious.
We posed the question over on Facebook asking what your favorite pizza topping is… and the answers are amazing!
You can keep them coming all day long! It’s a day to celebrate, a day to sit back, relax, and enjoy one of the greatest foods on the planet. Pizza.

Blake Shelton is enjoying his life with his beautiful girlfriend Gwen Stefani, his hit reality competition television show The Voice and dueting with some of the biggest names in country music. The “God’s Country” singer teamed up with country music legend, John Anderson for a track named, ‘Tuesday I’ll Be Gone’ which will be featured on his upcoming album ‘Years’, to be released April 10.
Blake Shelton is no stranger as of late to teaming with some of country music’s biggest names, he teamed up with both Garth Brooks and Trace Adkins over the past year, and he has said he is enjoying collabing with other artists instead of coming out with a complete album.
I think I can speak for the entire country universe in saying, if Blake continues to drop big “single” hits with big names, I’d be okay with him never dropping another album again. I say that in jest of course, but let’s be honest, he is on quite the roll with all the incredible Single’s he is coming out with recently.
Luke Combs joined an elite group of country artist as he was the musical guest on one of the biggest episodes of NBC’s ‘Saturday Night Live’ last night. Houston Texans all-pro defensive end, JJ Watt hosted the show on the eve of the biggest football game of the year.
The Beautiful Crazy singer sang a couple of his favorite tunes, including his smash hit ‘Beer Never Broke My Heart’ along with another song Lovin’ on You. We aren’t sure what the ratings were quite yet, but with it being on the eve of The Super Bowl, it’s a perfect spot to gain a HUGE audience.
Who’s your pick for the Super Bowl today?

Teen Brothers Create Shot for Shot remake of Toy Story 3 with REAL Toys, and It Only Took 8 Years. [VIDEO]
There are people who are fans of a movie, and then there are people out there who are super fans who have a very creative mind. Des Moines brothers, Morgan and Mason McGrew are what you would call super fans of Toy Story.
So much so, that they decided it would be fun to remake the entire movie Toy Story 3, using a Live-Action format with REAL TOYS. The McGrew brothers started the project eight years ago, when Morgan was 15-years-old and Mason was 12. The just finished the project this month and premiered the final product, in its entirety on YouTube…
And it is INCREDIBLE! The Toy Story franchise is one of my favorite animated movie franchises of ALL-TIME. This is the best thing I’ve ever seen. Enjoy…
The movie has already garnered over a million views in the first week. So sit back, grab your favorite movie theater snack, and enjoy.

We are sending our deepest condolences, thoughts, and prayers to Martina McBride after the passing of her Mother, Jeanne. Who passed away yesterday. Martina shared a special message on her instagram last night with some pictures and some great meaning to her mother towards her life.

My mom passed away this morning. She was a complex and amazing woman. Strong. Chic. No-nonsense. Hilarious. Witty. She had the prettiest hair and skin and hands…I loved her hands. She took good care of us. Our house was always the house where all the aunts, uncles, and cousins gathered, and she was really the reason for that. She made her 4 kids self sufficient, told us to go outside and play, gave us chores to do and taught us how to work. She wasn’t one to smother you with affection, do your homework for you, or attend every ballgame, but we always knew she was there for us. As we all got older we had many conversations about life, faith, morals, and the importance of beauty sleep and taking care of yourself. She’d start every phone call or message with “Martina. This is your mother”. She loved to laugh and to tell stories to get a laugh. And even though she told me in the hospital that she wasn’t “an enthusiastic cook” she made the best fried chicken I’ve ever tasted. I spent the last week with her in ICU, with my dad, my brothers, and my sister, and a fantastic and caring team of doctors who went above and beyond to try and get her to a place where her heart would sustain her. During that week I held her hand, rubbed her shoulders, stroked her face, told her I loved her and she told me she loved me. Even though I wish it had ended differently I wouldn’t have traded that time with her for anything. So now we try and move forward without our matriarch. And somehow, in time, we will. Because she taught us how to be strong. I love you Mom. 1/10/20

Sam Hunt is getting things back on track at the start of 2020, finally releasing his newest Single ‘Sinning with You’. The single was originally slated to be released on November 22nd, the day after he was arrested for a Driving Under the Influence. Because of the arrest, the ‘Kinfolks’ singer decided to postpone the release until January, and it’s officially out.
He told Rolling Stone, “It’s a metaphor for a small town guy who was raised with traditional values, a lot of those rooted in church and faith.”
“Most of the value systems that I grew up around are rooted in religion and church,” says Hunt, who was raised in Cedarville, Georgia. His wife, Hannah Lee Fowler, is the daughter of a pastor. “You start to read books and talk to people who grew up in different backgrounds, and you try to collect that knowledge and find some meaning, some truth. It speaks to the broader pursuit of truth and understanding, in terms of how you are supposed to live your life.”
I’m so happy to see him back on track and look forward to some more great music from Sam Hunt.

Most of us like to start our New Year with a resolution or taking a trip to the gym. But how about kicking off the new year on National television performing your Number One Hit. That’s exactly how Matt Stell began his 2020 in style by performing “Prayed For You” on the popular Morning Show in front of a LIVE studio Audience and the rest of the country.
Check out the performance of one of the top hits of 2019, “Prayed For You” by Matt Stell.
One of my goals for the New Year is being better about how much I tip people at restaurants. Whether it be tipping a take out chinese place (I’ve never tipped them before), or when I go to Starbucks for my cup of coffee, leaving a dollar or two in the tip jar. It is one thing that I haven’t been great at doing, but those who have jobs in the service industry, can really get the short end of the stick sometimes, and even a dollar or two can help their day tremendously.
Even though I am going to start tipping more and be better about what I leave on my bill, I’m not sure if I can top what Donnie Wahlberg did over the New Year holiday. He recently frequented an IHOP with his wife Jenny McCarthy, and they had a bill of $78.45, and instead of leaving your normal 20% tip on a check at IHOP, he decided to be generous and gave a whopping $2,020 tip on the bill.
— Jenny McC-Wahlberg (@JennyMcCarthy) January 1, 2020
McCarthy, who tweeted out a picture of the receipt used the hashtag #2020TipChallenge, to challenge all out there to start being mindful of the tips you leave (or don’t leave) for others. And even though I may never be able to leave a tip as big as the year we are in, I love the inspiration!

Jason and Brittany Aldean have a lot to look forward to in 2020, the completion of their brand new house (Fully Equipped with a bowling alley) as well some great memories with their kiddos. There second youngest, Memphis, is already starting to notice the ladies as they spend some time on the beach around the holiday season.
Brittany Aldean shared a video of Memphis hanging out on the beach, and it looked like the only thing on his mind and his eyesight were some approaching girls, while his mom was filming him. It’s the cutest video to end the New Year, and it is adorable.
She captioned the video with IM IN SO MUCH TROUBLE…”, so apart from all they have to look forward to in 2020, sounds like they’ll have to keep a close eye on their son Memphis and the New Year progresses!

There are so many ways to ring in the New Year, whether your in the freezing cold of Time Square in New York City, or at the local taphouse enjoying a relaxing evening with friends, or staying at home with your significant other ringing in the New Year with your someone special. If you are the latter well there will be plenty of ways to watch others ring in the New Year all around the Globe.
Keith Urban is set to ring in the New Year in Nashville on Tuesday night, he’ll be joined by Rock and Roll legend Stevie Nicks. The two are set to headline the concert which will also include acts: Ashley McBryde, Jason Isbell, The Struts, Amanda Shires, Bren Joy, Kalie Shorr, DJ Dave Audé and the Fisk Jubilee Singers. And as per usual the event will end with counting down to the new year and some spectacular fireworks.
“To have someone of the caliber and stature of Stevie Nicks join Keith Urban on stage is an incredible way to cap off the year,” Nashville Mayor John Cooper said in a statement. “Nashville has worked hard to grow New Year’s Eve into a world-class event that brings global attention and economic impact to the city. Considering the evening’s diverse lineup, national broadcast coverage, and the addition of a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame artist to the program, it’s clear that these efforts are working.”
The concert, held at Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park, is free and will open to the public at 4PM. If you can’t be in Nashville, you can catch portions of the show aired on both CNN and NBC.
What are your New Year plans?

There are so many things to do around the holiday season, but I can almost guarantee you won’t see much snow on the ground in Florida or Georgia around Christmas, let alone Nashville. So what do you do when you can’t get any to come to you, you go to it. That’s exactly what Florida Georgia Line’s, Tyler Hubbard and his family did over the weekend. Hubbard posted some great pictures of him and his kiddos tearing up the slopes up at Sun Valley in Idaho.
Tyler and Hayley enjoyed the snow, cold, and great family time, saying “We are in our happiest of places.” Where is your favorite place to go around the holidays to escape from the hustle and bustle of work, and crazy life?
Hayley Hubbard posted some action shots of their oldest daughter, Olivia, hitting the slopes. Today is Olivia’s second birthday, so it was a fitting way for her to spend the weekend before.
Keith Urban is one of the most recognizable stars not only in country music, but in the world. Like he does every year, the Australian born singer spends his Christmas in his homeland, and he’s no stranger to putting on performances while he is home for the holidays.
What’s better than one Australian singer covering a song, how about two of the biggest singers in Australia on the same stage, covering one of the biggest songs of the year, ‘Lover’, from one of the biggest stars of all-time and the woman of the decade, Taylor Swift.

No matter who performs what song, I’ve gotta say stripped down acoustic versions of songs are my favorites, and this was absolutely incredible.

It’s been over a year since we got a new studio album from Brothers Osborne. But it doesn’t look like we will be waiting too much longer. Lead Vocalist T.J. Osborne posted a picture earlier today on Instagram with a caption hinting that they have been working on some new music and he is excited for a long break over the holiday season.
It will be their first studio album since 2018 and their 3rd studio album since 2016. They did record a “Live at the Ryman” back in October of this year. But, that doesn’t really count when it comes to studio albums. Their previous two albums “Pawn Shop” and “Port Saint Joe” both peaked in the Top 3 on the US Country Charts respectively. I have no doubt in my mind that they will have a smash hit on their hands once released in the coming months.
The caption reads, “First batch of songs done in the studio. Looking forward to a long needed break.”
No word on when any new music will be released, or when the album will be completed, but all I can say is I hope it’s sooner rather than later! I cannot wait!
