Fans of Wheel of Fortune what a rule changed after a contestant solved a puzzle but lost on a technicality.
The contestant, David, solved the puzzle by saying, “Sole,” “Flounder,” “Cod” and “Catfish,” but he wasn’t supposed to say the word “and” because it didn’t appear on the board. Host Pat Sajak said that his answer wasn’t correct and moved on to the next contestant.
He explained later, “David did that thing that’s so easy to do. He added an ‘and.'”
