Morgan Wallen Plays Free Show at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena to Celebrate Album Release

Morgan Wallen is playing a free show in Nashville tonight for the release of his new album.  Or, it’s SUPPOSED to be free.  He announced a two-day ticket giveaway, but all tickets went on Day One.

Fans lined up yesterday, and it was first come, first serve.  The line stretched for blocks, and the tickets were gone in about three hours.

Almost immediately following the news that all the tickets were claimed, scalpers began selling them online.

Despite the fact that the tickets are non-transferable, scalpers were charging thousands of dollars. There’s no word on whether Bridgestone Arena or Morgan’s team will take action to cancel the scalped tickets.

Wallen’s third studio album, “One Thing At A Time,” hit stores on Friday, March 3rd.  The massive 36-song album includes Eric Church on “Man Made a Bar” . . . Hardy on “In the Bible” . . . and Ernest on the song “Cowgirls”.  Miranda Lambert co-wrote “Thought You Should Know”, which became her first Number One hit solely as a songwriter.
