Paramedics Rush the Stage Because They Were Fooled by the Zach Bryan “Revival” Stunt

If you’ve ever been to a Zach Bryan concert, you know the performances are packed with energy and surprises. One recurring moment during the band introductions is when the banjo player hilariously “fakes” a medical emergency. The act usually involves him slumping over, clutching his chest, and being “revived” by his bandmates—before springing back to life and delivering an epic banjo solo to kick off Zach’s hit song, Revival.

But on Friday night, the stunt caused some unintended confusion. Medical personnel on-site saw the banjo player’s performance and thought it was real. As trained professionals, they rushed to the stage to provide assistance. Once they reached the front, it became clear it was all part of the show, and they calmly returned to their posts.

In a video capturing the moment, you can overhear one of the paramedics saying, “They should have told us that was part of the act.” Lesson learned? Maybe next time Zach and his team should give the medics a heads-up before pulling this dramatic stunt. At least it shows the dedication of first responders, who are always ready to jump into action!
