This week, we’re shining the spotlight on Kodak, a 2-year-old pit bull at Portsmouth Humane Society who’s as picture-perfect as his name suggests.
Kodak is the total package—calm, well-mannered, and incredibly sweet. He previously lived with other dogs, so he’s got great social skills. He walks beautifully on a leash, making him the perfect companion for strolls around the neighborhood or a Paws Around P-Town adventure to the park. Above all, Kodak loves people and can’t wait to find a family to call his own.
Clear the Shelters Special
To celebrate Clear the Shelters, Portsmouth Humane Society is waiving adoption fees for all adult dogs and cats now through the end of August. That means Kodak—and plenty of other lovable pets—can join your family at no cost.
Not Ready to Adopt? Fostering Makes a Big Difference
Even if adoption isn’t an option right now, PHS needs fosters while the shelter undergoes renovations. They’ll provide all the supplies—you provide the love and a temporary safe space. Fostering not only gives pets like Kodak a break from the shelter, but it also opens up space for more animals in need. Learn more about fostering here.
