Chesapeake

Hickory Ridge Farm: The You-Pick Patch opens October 1st. You-Pick and pre-picked pumpkins at $.99 a pound! Fall festival activities start September 18th! Old Towne Portsmouth Ghost Walk: October 24th. Tours begin and end at the Ghost Walk Marketplace in front of Trinity Episcopal Church, 500 Court Street, Portsmouth, VA, at the intersection of High Street & Court Streets in downtown Portsmouth. At each haunted house, visitors hear costumed actors retell the legends of ghostly visitations and things that go bump in the night!
Smithfield:

‘Ghosts of Thoroughgood Past’ Paranormal Tours: Virginia Beach History Museums invites you to take a paranormal tour of the historic Thoroughgood House by candlelight this October. Keep an eye out for ghostly happenings in the gardens and house as costumed professional storytellers guide you through the night! Campfires and cider will also be available at the Thoroughgood House to warm your spirits during these hauntingly fun fall nights! Tours are appropriate for all ages.

Williamsburg:
Busch Gardens® Howl-O-Scream® returns this fall, taking over the entire park with five haunted houses, six terror-tories™, four sinister shows and more. Unsuspecting horrors await their victims at every turn. Plus, guests can test their thrill threshold with 10 world-class coasters at night, offering a completely different ride experience.
Parental discretion is advised after 6:00 PM, as this year’s event contains amplified scares that are not recommended for children.
Please be advised, Sesame Street Forest of Fun, Land of the Dragons and all other kid attractions will close nightly at 5pm to prepare for Howl-O-Scream.
