Just four months after Zach Bryan made headlines by selling his entire publishing catalog to Warner Records for a staggering $350 million, BMG has agreed to pay $250 million to acquire Jason Aldean’s entire recording catalog.
It’s reportedly the largest catalog investment in BMG’s history. The acquisition includes multiple major albums and over 1,000 songs across Aldean’s career.
Aldean stated, “BBR Music Group and BMG have always shown a real commitment to my music and a belief in me as an artist. Knowing all of my music is in the hands of my long-time label team makes this a full-circle moment.”
