This week Dan + Shay posted a video on social media to let fans know that not only are they closer than ever as a duo, but there’s a lot of new music on the way – including a Christmas song!
Dan shared in the video, “Before the end of the year, we’ve got a couple cool things happening. We are going to release a Christmas song. We weren’t planning on it, but as we’ve been working on a new album for next year, we stumbled upon a Christmas song that we’re super excited about. There might also be like a couple other little surprises that happen between now and the end of the year. Stay tuned. We’ll be teasing them soon. And then next year is gonna be crazy. More music than ever, more shows, more tours than ever. We’re fired up. 2026 is going to be huge for us.”
Shay added, “We’ve been in the studio, so much writing, like Dan said, our favorite music ever. I can’t wait for you guys to hear it. We love you. We’ll see you soon. We’re back, baby.”

Morgan Wallen’s infamous “chair throw heard round the world” is back in the spotlight thanks to newly released bodycam footage from the Metro Nashville Police Department.
It happened last year on the rooftop of Eric Church’s bar Chief’s . . . and it ended with Morgan getting arrested on three counts of felony reckless endangerment and one count of disorderly conduct.
He eventually pleaded guilty to misdemeanor reckless endangerment. He was sentenced to probation and served seven days in a DUI education facility.
But the new video shows Morgan repeatedly denying that he threw the chair. Morgan even called Eric and put the officer on the phone with him. It was almost like Morgan thought Eric could get him out of it.
However, even though the officer told Morgan that he had caught him on security footage, Morgan still denied it.
They then put him in handcuffs and placed him in the back of a patrol car, where one of his songs was playing. So, Morgan asked the cop to turn it up and then started to sing along.
