Reid Perry Says Goodbye to The Band Perry
After nearly two decades of making music together, Reid Perry has officially announced his departure from The Band Perry.
In a heartfelt Instagram post on October 13, the bassist and background vocalist shared that he’s stepping away to focus on artist management.
“To the fans, you’ve always been my favorite part of this. I’ve decided to leave TBP… For me, it was and will always be about making great country music, with and for the hardworking people who love it and live it.”
Reid, 36, revealed that he’ll be managing The Voice alum Ryan Coleman, calling him “a new voice I believe in more than anything.”
His sister, Kimberly Perry, is now the only remaining original member of the trio. She responded with love and support, writing,
“Reid! Wishing you the most wonderful successes in your new era! Love you, brother!”
Earlier this year, The Band Perry returned to their country roots with a remastered version of their debut album, marking its 15th anniversary — with Kimberly’s husband, Johnny Costello, stepping in for Neil Perry.

Lainey Wilson to Host the CMAs Solo — and She’s Ready to Roast
Lainey Wilson is making CMA Awards history this year as the first woman to host solo since Reba McEntire in 1991 — and she’s got big plans to bring humor to the show.
“I tried to get them to let me do it last year, and they were like, ‘whoa, whoa, whoa, that’s too far,’” Lainey laughed. “But I go way back with these people. Let me make fun of Luke Combs, please.”
Lainey wants to turn the ceremony into a “good-natured roast,” keeping things lighthearted and fun.
The 59th Annual CMA Awards will air on Wednesday, November 19th, on ABC, live from Nashville.

Parker McCollum’s Thanksgiving Tune
Parker McCollum is calling out a major oversight in the music world — the lack of Thanksgiving songs.
He’s decided to fix that himself, sharing a new holiday track inspired by “Santa Baby.”
“Everybody always makes Christmas music… Nobody ever makes Thanksgiving music. So I thought I’d give y’all a little Thanksgiving song,” he said with a grin before breaking into the playful parody.
He ended the song saying, “Not as cool as I thought,” but we think it’s a bop.
@parkermccollumY’all got Christmas songs, here’s a Thanksgiving original for ya

Shaboozey Serves Up Country-Pizza Fusion
Virginia-born artist Shaboozey just dropped something unexpected — a jingle for Domino’s Pizza.
As part of the company’s first major rebrand in 13 years, Shaboozey lends his smooth vocals to the new tagline:
“Dom-mmm-inos.”
Shaboozey called working on the jingle a creative challenge. But he was proud to bring together two of his favorite things: country music and pizza.
