I got to meet Runt at Norfolk Animal Care Center this week. He is so excited to meet new people and is looking for a family of his own.
It’s National Adopt a Senior Pet Month, and at 8 years old, he still has so much love to give. He’s already litter box trained, has lived with other cats, and loves getting head scratches and giving head butts.
His adoption fee is reduced to just $35 through the Friends of NACC Golden Paws Program, and if a senior over 65 adopts a senior pet over 7, like Runt, the adoption fee is waived.
You can help senior pets at Norfolk Animal Care Center this month at Baker’s Crust in Ghent. Order a Salty Dog cocktail featuring Tito’s Vodka or a Golden Paws Punch (non-alcoholic), and Baker’s Crust Ghent will donate $2 to support senior pet adoptions through Friends of Norfolk Animal Care Center.
Plus, this Sunday, November 9th, from 3–8 PM, show this fundraiser flyer, and Baker’s Crust’s Ghent location will donate 10% of your bill to help senior pets find loving homes through NACC’s Golden Paws program.
