Morgan Wallen is finally breaking his silence about that viral Saturday Night Live exit.
In a new episode of Sundae Conversations with former Barstool Sports personality Caleb Pressley, Morgan was asked about his sudden departure from the SNL stage and the now-infamous Instagram story that read, “Get me to God’s country.”
Pressley didn’t hold back, asking directly, “Seriously, SNL—did they make you mad?”Morgan’s answer? Surprisingly simple.
“No, I was just ready to go home,” he replied. “I’d been there all week.”
