The CMA nominations are out, and leading the pack this year are Lainey Wilson, Ella Langley, and Megan Moroney with six nominations each!
Reigning Entertainer of the Year Morgan Wallen scored three nominations, including Entertainer, Male Vocalist, and Album of the Year.
Ella Langley also racked up five, with her Riley Green collab “You Look Like You Love Me” earning nods for Single, Song, and Music Video of the Year, plus Female Vocalist and New Artist of the Year.
Zach Top and Shaboozey are both back in the New Artist category for the second straight year. They each received a nod last year and lost out to Megan Maroney.
LoCash missed out on Vocal Duo of the Year despite scoring a No. 1 hit with “Hometown Home.”
Parmalee got left out of Vocal Group of the Year—even though they dropped a brand-new album this year. Instead, the nominations included Red Clay Strays, Lady A, and Little Big Town… even though Lady A hasn’t released anything in four years, and LBT hasn’t put out new music in five.
Kelsea Ballerini earned a nomination for Female Vocalist of the Year, but was not included in the Entertainer of the Year or Album of the Year categories. Some observers also noted that Chris Stapleton and Luke Combs, who received nominations, did not tour or release new albums this year
And the biggest shocker? Jelly Roll was completely shut out, despite earning a nod for Entertainer of the Year in 2024 and having 2025’s most-played song, “Liar.”
