Meet Mack, a pretty brown tabby at VBSPCA. She is about 7 years old and is reserved when she first meets you.
However, she’s very sweet when you get to know her, but she needs some help learning who is safe and reliable. Mack does tend to prefer women over men, but she may be open to a man in the home–she might just need some extra time to learn it’s okay.
She enjoys being brushed and using her scratching posts. Loud sounds and sudden changes can make her nervous, so VBSPCA recommends a household either without dogs or with a calm, older dog. Mack would likely do well with another cat in the home, given a slow introduction.
Though she is shy, once she feels comfortable, she is friendly and quite affectionate. Because she can be nervous, we’d recommend children old enough to respect her boundaries. Stop by VBSPCA and meet this lady!
