I got to meet Balto at Virginia Beach SPCA this week!
This low-riding fellow is 10 years young and looking for the perfect retirement home where he can spend lots of time with his people. He is house-trained and loves short walks when it is cool outside.
Balto has been anxious since arriving at the shelter and spending time hanging out with the staff in their office. He loves curling up on a soft, comfy bed, where he makes a big nest to rest in. He would be a great work-from-home companion, or he will happily snooze the day away in his favorite spot while waiting for you to come home.
VBSPCA recommends children 10 and up in his future home and requires a meet-and-greet with any other resident dogs prior to adoption.
Balto will need a dental cleaning before adoption, which will be an additional $265, plus his adoption fee. If you can’t adopt but still want to help, donate to the medical fund in honor of Balto and help his future family bring him home!
