About Stephanie Taylor
I started my career in radio in my hometown of Fredericksburg, Virginia before coming to The Eagle in 2006. Prior to that, I interned for Sony Music in Nashville and graduated from Middle Tennessee State University.
I’m passionate about animal rescue and work closely with our local shelters to feature an Adoptable Pet of the Week every Friday. When I’m not at the radio station, I serve on the board of Friends of Norfolk Animal Care Center, a 501(c)(3) created to support the Norfolk Animal Care Center in sheltering and caring for Norfolk’s stray and homeless animals. We promote and facilitate adoptions, assist with special needs medical care, support spay/neuter programs, and educate the public about responsible pet ownership.
I live in Virginia Beach with my husband Brian along with our rescue crew — three rescue cats, three guinea pigs, and a bearded dragon. I love to read and enjoy volunteering with Food Rescue US and NACC Pack Adventures.
