Dorian Updates

1:45p: VDot says starting as early as 2 p.m. today a POTENTIAL temporary closure on I-64 east and west at the Hampton Roads Bridge-Tunnel (HRBT) could be in place, requiring motorists to plan ahead and seek alternate routes.

12:20p: Flooding has begun in Sandbridge, Oceanview and Downtown Norfolk ahead of high tide. Expect it to get worse. Do not drive through flood waters.

12:15p: VB police say do not drive on the boardwalk at the Oceanfront during the storm. They are issuing tickets to those who do.

10:40a: The #MidtownTunnel eastbound will be temporarily closed on Friday, September 6, starting at 11 a.m. due to the potential impacts of #HurricaneDorian. Alternate routes include: #DowntownTunnel, #HighRiseBridge, or
