Apparently even the wrinkles of your knuckles are unacceptable now.
Instagram expert Sara Tasker says celebrities and influencers have started airbrushing out their knuckles in photos of their hands so they appear smoother.
She says she’s noticed the trend on Instagram posts, as well as on Pinterest, and it seems to be gaining popularity over the last few months. She adds, “I think it’s an interesting reflection on how far removed from reality the ‘Instagram perfect’ body has become– genetically impossible waists, distorted curves, and now fingers that don’t bend.”
