FOOTBALL LEGEND SAVES THE DAY FOR COMIC BOOK LEGEND
Comic book legend Stan Lee has created many superheroes over the years but he was in need of one recently when his beloved dog mysteriously went missing from his Hollywood Hills house. Lee’s mini Pomeranian, Charlotte, got loose and disappeared without a trace. His friends searched all over the neighborhood and put up fliers hoping for some leads. After a few days had passed, it became clear that neither Spider-Man nor Black Panther would be of any help. It turns out that he actually needed a real-life sports hero instead. About a mile away, football legend Jim Brown spotted the fluffy, white dog without its collar on his property and picked her up. He brought her to a vet to check her microchip, but she was unregistered. So he and his wife walked around the neighborhood and noticed the fliers. He called the number and a short while later, Charlotte was happily reunited with her relieved 95-year-old owner.
Jim Carrey is taking a lot of heat on social media for a portrait he painted of White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders. The funnyman didn’t mention Sanders by name but tweeted, “This is the portrait of a so-called Christian whose only purpose in life is to lie for the wicked. Monstrous!” Some Twitter users slammed Carrey for shaming Sanders with such an unattractive portrait, and others criticized him for mentioning her Christian faith. Carrey’s reps have confirmed the painting is his but would not say for sure that it depicts Sanders. Talk About It: Alllllrighty then!
Little BLUE IVY CARTER is morphing into art aficionado at the tender age of six! The UK’s Daily Mail reports the cute little daughter of BEYONCE and JAY-Z bid a whopping $19-thousand dollars on a painting of SIDNEY POITIER at the Wearable Art Gala last weekend, but eventually lost the piece to TYLER PERRY, who offered up 20-grand. Footage of the scene is already going viral as Ivy’s dear old tried to stop his mini-me from spending a small fortune.
The Kardashians aren’t just about selfies — the famous gives back, too. According to TMZ, the reality stars have saved a money-strapped community center in the Watts section of Los Angeles. Kim, Kourtney, Kris and the momager’s boyfriend Corey Gamble received “The Key to Our Hearts” on Friday after donating more than $100,000 dollars for a brand-new community center reportedly “equipped with a basketball court, full kitchen, new TVs and more than 20 new Apple laptops for the learning center.” TMZ says Kris is also looking to raise money to “build a baseball diamond and grass field so the children will have something fun and meaningful to do.”
