Michael Jackson’s Estate Sues Disney over ABC Special:  The estate of Michael Jackson filed a copyright infringement suit on Wednesday against the Walt Disney Company alleging that an ABC television special used Jackson’s songs and videos without permission. The suit surrounds “The Last Days of Michael Jackson,” a TV special that aired on May 24th. The estate alleges that the producers used songs including “Beat It,” “Billie Jean,” and “The Girl Is Mine,” along with music videos such as “Thriller,” and clips from “This Is It,” the concert documentary.

While some of Roseanne Barr‘s TV co-stars have spoken out against her and the tweets which led to ABC cancelling her show, John Goodman says he’s keeping his mouth shut. Roseanne’s TV husband was approached by Entertainment Tonight and asked about his co-star’s tweets and the cancellation of the show. He cautiously responded that he would “rather say nothing than to cause more trouble.” He added that he’s aware of the tweets but hasn’t been paying much attention to the controversy. The 65-year-old insists that he’s doing fine and quipped, “I wasn’t gonna get an Emmy anyway.”

The stars of the cancelled Roseanne show will still get a paycheck for the second season. Just last month, the principal actors — Sara GilbertLaurie Metcalf and John Goodman — renegotiated their contracts for $350,000 per episode. Next season was scheduled to be 13 shows. That mean ABC is on the hook about $4 million per actor. Meanwhile, the president of ABC-TV sent a memo to the hundreds of crew that worked behind the camera on RoseanneBen Sherwood wrote, “We’re so sorry you were swept up in all of this. We give thanks to your remarkable talents, wish you well and hope to find another way to work together down the road.”

Cupid was hard at work on the set of “John Wick: Chapter 3.” Sources tell Life & Style magazine that KEANU REEVES and his new co-star, HALLE BERRY, began dating right before production began on the latest installment of the film series. Word is Halle likes Keanu’s “mysterious, introspective” and down-to-Earth manner, while he thinks her talent, looks and passion for parenting and yoga make her the “total package.”
