HOT CELEBRITY GOSSIP, FRIDAY, JUNE 1st!!

BROUGHT TO YOU BY ONE HOUR HEATING & A/C!

It’s go time. Tom Cruise seemed to indicate Wednesday that production has begun on the “Top Gun” sequel titled “Top Gun: Maverick.” The 55-year-old star tweeted “#Day1” under a picture of his character Maverick gazing back at his fighter jet with “FEEL THE NEED” stamped on it. Feel the need, of course, is part of the famous line from the 1986 original, “I feel the need, the need for speed.”  The sequel might also be in acceleration mode. Reports previously said the movie ― which features fighter pilots who “grapple with drone tech that is making their old style of flying obsolete,” according to The Hollywood Reporter ― would begin filming in the summer, for a July 2019 release.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are returning nearly $10 million worth of wedding gifts. The Royal Family rules are explicit about the appearance of influence-peddling. A panel inside the Palace decided which gifts the Royal Couple could keep and which had to be returned or donated to charities. Hundreds of companies loaded Meghan with freebies in hopes they’d get free publicity. In England, they call it the “Markle Sparkle” effect. Clothing, shoes, and accessories sell out the same day she wears a fashion designer. Prince Harry and Meghan named seven charities they wished friends would donate to. They also established a private wedding registry for family and close associates. As if they needed a gravy boat, toaster oven or crockpot…..

You may be getting a “Save the Date” from ARIEL WINTER in the very near future. Sources tell HollywoodLife.com that “Modern Family’s” Alex Dunfee and her boyfriend LEVI MEADEN are madly in love and can’t wait to tie the knot. Word is the little lady is eyeing a ceremony on the beach, he’s shopping around for engagement rings and they plan on “being with each other forever.”

Graduation season is in full swing and VIN DIESEL celebrated his fellow alumni at the Hunter College of the City University of New York. TMZ reports the action star gave the commencement address to two-thousand new graduates at Radio City Music Hall and picked up an honorary Ph.D. during the ceremony. Vin wrote a play while majoring in English back in the day, some guy named STEVEN SPIELBERG liked what he saw and eventually gave him a role in “Saving Private Ryan.
