Taylor Swift Gets Permission To Build A Wall:  Swift’s Beverly Hills home currently features a surrounding seven-foot wall, but now, according to building documents acquired by TMZ, she’s adding a 12- to 14-foot inner wall, too. The second will serve to “improve security and privacy on the property due to multiple attempts by people to enter the property over the existing, lower perimeter wall.” She has been plagued in recent months by stalkers trying to get into her homes.

Oprah Buys Pacific Northwest Island Estate:  Oprah Winfrey just bought a sprawling 43-acre estate on Orcas Island, north of Seattle. The property is known as Madroneagle, and is only accessible by ferry. The main house has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. So does the guest house.

There’s a remake of the BURT REYNOLDS movie, “Cannonball Run,” in the works. The Hollywood Reporter says director DOUG LIMAN –who was behind the films “Edge of Tomorrow” and “Mr. and Mrs. Smith” is in talks to direct an updated version of the 1981 film, which also starred ROGER MOORE, FARAH FAWCETT, DEAN MARTIN, DOM DeLUISE and a young JACKIE CHAN, who all raced across the US in a cross-country road race.

“Legally Blond 3” Is In The Works:  MGM is near a deal with Reese Witherspoon to reprise her role as the precocious, idealistic Elle Woods in “Legally Blonde 3”.
