HOT CELEBRITY GOSSIP, WEDNESDAY, JULY 18th!

BROUGHT TO YOU BY ONE HOUR HEATING & A/C!

Meghan Markle‘s father isn’t ready to stop blabbing to the media — not until the British Royal Family acknowledges him. Only two days after telling The Sun he was doing his “last interview,” Thomas Markle did another with TMZ. He told the gossip blog, “I was silent for a full year and the press beat me up every day saying I was a hermit hiding in Mexico, so I gave my story. Apparently that interview put the Royal Family in their silence mode … so, I gave another interview to break the silence. All they have to do is speak to me.” The new Duchess and Prince Harry were reportedly “frustrated” about his paid interview with The Sun, but Thomas remains hopeful that his daughter will reach out. He says, “Tomorrow is my birthday, 74 years old, and I’m enjoying the fact that I can make the entire Royal Family not speak and maybe I can get a laugh out of the Duchess.”

Is there trouble in paradise for Kourtney Kardashian and her boyfriend Younes Bendjima? Kourtney posted a sexy thong photo on social media a few days ago, which is par for the course if you are a Kardashian, and Younes commented, “That’s what you need to show to get likes?” Not surprisingly, the comment was quickly deleted — but not before it caught the attention of a lot of irate Kourtney fans. To prove a point, people have been trolling Younes’ Instagram and posting similar comments on all his shirtless modeling photos. Ha! Seems fair.

The happiness of getting engaged two weeks ago has quickly turned to sadness for Katharine McPhee. Her father, Daniel McPhee, passed away on Sunday. She shared a photo of her father on Instagram and wrote, “I can’t believe I’m even writing this. But it is with heavy heart that I share that my sweet sweet Papa left this earth yesterday morning. We as a family are completely heartbroken and devastated. He was my biggest fan, my biggest champion, always telling me to ‘Give em hell kid!’… Not sure my heart will ever be the same.” Earlier this month, the 34-year-old McPhee — who stars in the Broadway musical Waitress — got engaged to 68-year-old producer David Foster.

Mr. BIG BACKS CYNTHIA NIXON: Following Sex and the City co-stars Sarah Jessica Parker and Kristin Davis’ lead, Christopher Noth (a.k.a. Mr. Big), is throwing his support behind Cynthia Nixon’s bid for governor of New York. He donated $2,500 to his former campaign. According to an official campaign statement made public Tuesday, Noth was joined by Alec Baldwin, who gave $16,000; Susan Sarandon and Lena Dunham, who each gave $10,000; and Debra Messing, who gave $500.
