DEMI LOVATO’S BACKUP DANCER BREAKS SILENCEDemi Lovato’s backup singer Dani Vitale is breaking her silence after being blamed by some fans for her overdose. Vitale and Lovato go back nearly a decade. HEATH LEDGER’S FATHER EXTENDS CONGRATULATIONS TO MICHELLE WILLIAMS: The late Heath Ledger’s father Kim told the Sydney Morning Herald that he and his family are “terribly happy” about Michelle Williams’ marriage to singer Phil Elverum in a small, secret ceremony earlier this month. Williams and Ledger share a daughter, Matilda, 12. She and Elverum’s 3-year-old daughter Agathe were among the attendees. Williams and Ledger’s father Kim have maintained a relationship since the Dark Knight’s death in 2008.

Star Wars: Episode IX will begin filming at London’s Pinewood Studios on August 1, 2018. Returning cast members include Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, and John Boyega. Joining the cast of Episode IX is Keri Russell, who will be joined by veteran Star Wars actors Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, and Billy Dee Williams, who will reprise his role as Lando Calrissian. The role of Leia Organa will once again be played by Carrie Fisher, using previously unreleased footage shot for Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Release is scheduled for December 2019.
