There’s a new low cal ice cream that says it will help you sleep better

We have an excuse to eat ice cream right before bed now (not that we needed it)

A new brand of ice cream called Night Food just won 2019 Product of the Year

Night Food says, “Sleep-friendly means we optimized macro-nutrient and ingredient profiles of our products for nighttime. Everybody knows that what you eat before bed matters.

So, we removed/minimized stuff that’s in most other ice creams that can be sleep disruptive (caffeine, sugars, excess fat and calories) and made our recipes less likely to cause sleep disruption via lactose digestion issues, acid reflux, blood sugar spikes, and the like.

Then, we added certain minerals and amino acids that research suggests can support sleep quality.”
