When Kelsea Ballerini’s name wasn’t on the list of ACM nominees I was shocked. From multiple hit songs to being on the road with Keith Urban and then headlining her own tour I thought she deserved multiple nominations.
Cut to last night’s ACM Awards where Kelsea was no where to be seen on the red carpet or on the show but that doesn’t mean she wasn’t supporting her friends.
She began the night tweeting
Going back to my fangirl roots tonight watching the @ACMawards cheering on my friends and celebrating country music from my couch with my best friend and my momma. Currently in awe of @mirandalambert badassery and already cried watching my girl Nicole Galyon win song of the year.

“Gods Country” is now tied with Austin as my favorite @blakeshelton song. On repeat. So good.

and even the winner in the category she should’ve been nominated in
Really, really happy for @KaceyMusgraves and all the love she’s getting. Golden Hour is timeless and deserving of all of the accolades. And kacey In general is just rad. 💕👸🏻🦋🌈
