MTV Movie & TV Awards: Sandra Bullock’s Emotional Speech on Motherhood and More Memorable Moments

The MTV Movie and TV Awards were last night with some powerful speeches from The Rock and Sandra Bullock and more

Game of Thrones was named Best Show at Monday’s MTV Movie & TV Awards.

Avengers: Endgame won in the Best Movie category. The superhero flick also walked away with the awards for best hero, Robert Downey Junior(Tony Stark/Iron Man), and best villain, Josh Brolin (Thanos).

Brie Larson earned her first-ever Golden Popcorn trophy for her big-screen showdown against Minn-Erva

The main acting awards went to Lady Gaga for A Star Is Born and Elisabeth Moss for The Handmaid’s Tale.

Sandra Bullock dedicated her #MTVAward for Most Frightened Performance in “Bird Box” to her family 💖

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson received the Icon Generation Award.

Best Kiss went to Lana Condor and Noah Cent for “All The Boys I Loved Before”

Performers included Lizzo, who did her hit “Juice.”

The show got off to a bumpy start when host  Zachary Levi made a Kim Kardashian sex tape joke — prompting Ray J‘s wife Princess Love to flip off the camera.

The joke — which was an admittedly dated callback to the star’s infamous sex tape with Kim Kardashian, released in 2007 — was met with a round of shocked “oh”s from the audience, but Princess had a slightly stronger response, immediately flipping off the awards show cameras with both hands

In another controversial moment, reality star Johnny “Bananas” Devenanzio crashed the stage after Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta won the Reality Royalty award and gave his own acceptance speech — even though his show, The Challenge, lost in the category. Johnny was removed from the stage, giving the cast of Love & Hip Hop a chance to accept the award.
