A video clip of a hero dog rescuing a puppy has captured hearts on-line.

In the video it appears that a puppy has been left alone on a boat and is too scared to swim to shore.

On shore, a Rottweiler seemed very distressed to see his friend unable to make his way to dry land, so he jumped into action by getting into the water and grabbing the rope with his teeth and dragging the boat close enough to shore for the puppy to jump off.

As sweet as this is though, clearly there is a human filming the video and a male speaking in the background who could’ve stepped in to help.

Is it just me or does it break your heart to hear the poor puppy whining in what appears to be distress all for what, viral fame?
