Scientists Have Trained Rats to Drive Tiny Cars to Collect Food {VIDEO}

I love all creatures great and small- including rats and this just blew me away
The University of Richmond in Virginia researches built tiny little cars for rats and taught them to drive them!
The rats were down for it especially when they learned they were rewarded with Fruit Loops at the end of their cruise in the car.
The scientists also tested their hormone levels during the experience and found that driving helped relax the rats.
“They learned to navigate the car in unique ways and engaged in steering patterns they had never used to eventually arrive at the reward,” says researcher Kelly Lambert.
“I do believe that rats are smarter than most people perceive them to be, and that most animals are smarter in unique ways than we think,” she says.
