Virginian Denny Hamlin took the checkered flag at Daytona on Monday afternoon. That’s Denny’s 3rd time winning the race.

Ryan Newman was leading the race until Ryan Blaney contacted him and sent him spinning. Ryan slammed into the side of the wall which flipped his car over, only to be hit by Corey Lajoie. It was a mess.

Ryan Newman was sent to the hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries. That’s some crash to kick off the 2020 season. If you missed the video, check it out.
