An Austrian pilot took off for a 24-minute flight on Monday to send an important message to everyone on the ground. That message was “stay home,” and he conveyed it with his flight plan.
The pilot flew his single-engine plane from Wiener Neustadt, just south of Vienna, and flew in an erratic flight path before landing in the city of Graz. Afterward, he shared a map of his flight path on Twitter and it spelled out the words “stay home” — a clear message to his fellow countrymen to practice social distancing amid the coronavirus pandemic.
