It’s nice to see those who have a lot, give back to those of us who have so little. Especially during frantic times like these.
Tyler Perry is a pretty amazing guy. When he’s not making movies, he’s using his platform to do good. A lot of good. With the Coronavirus changing the way we do things, Perry decided he should do something to make sure our senior citizens are taken care of.
Perry picked two grocery store chains that had adjusted their hours for seniors to go in early to grab whatever groceries and supplies they need. Knowing that times are tough for everyone, especially seniors, Perry decided to cover the grocery store costs for all those seniors shopping at those two grocery chains. Perry picked 44 Kroger stores in Atlanta and 29 Winn-Dixie stores in New Orleans to help. Perry paid for every senior citizen’s groceries that rolled through the stores on those days. What a move!

That’s not the only charitable thing Perry has done since we’ve been quarantined. Over the weekend Perry grabbed some takeout and tipped everyone in the restaurant $500 bucks! This guy is a hero.
