Something that I have learned during this crazy time in the world is you have to appreciate the small things in life. Sometimes when you are stuck at home either by yourself, with your family, or with your significant other you have to find things to keep you occupied, and most of the time, that includes going through the black hole that is, YOUTUBE.

About a month ago I turned on YouTube on my television and something popped up, it was the “MarbleLympics” along with Marble Racing. This is a YouTube channel with millions and millions of views dedicated towards the art of marble racing. Between the actual race set-up, to the commentators, to the stadium filled with marbles. It has been one of the most fascinating things I have discovered during quarantine.

The Channel is called “Jelle’s Marble Runs”, they have a season long series of races, qualifying stages, they even put on a MarbleLympics!!!

Now you may be asking yourself, “Why the hell does Big Red have so much time on his hands.” And the answer to that is, I don’t, but I get excited over anything competitive, even if it is just some marbles racing.
