Charlie Daniels died of a stroke n Monday, July 6th and his last two tweets — posted Sunday (July 5) around 1PM CT — showed his commitment to his faith. Daniels tweeted a Bible verse and a personal prayer.

Earlier in the morning, Charlie tweeted a bible verse from Romans-8.

Friends and family reacted to the news of his passing including Brad Paisley who wrote, “He beat the devil with his fiddle, and I’m sure he’s opening up his case and resining up his bow now to play for the Lord.”
