Furry Friday: Hoover is up for adoption at Peninsula Regional Animal Shelter

Hoover is up for adoption at Peninsula Regional Animal Shelter.

Hoover is a petite pittie with a big personality and an equally big appetite! Hoover knows basic commands like “Sit” and “Shake” and will do just about anything you ask for a cookie!

He is housebroken and sleeps well in his crate over-night and when his people aren’t home. He does like to chew, so he will need lots of toys to keep his mouth busy. He walks great on leash and catches on to new things quickly (especially if you have a treat)!

Hoover is available for adoption from the Peninsula Regional Animal Shelter, located at 5843 Jefferson Ave. in Newport News. He is currently in a foster home, so please contact the shelter first if you are interested in meeting Hoover.

You can also follow Hoover’s adventures in his foster home on the PRAS Foster Pets.

Currently, PRAS is open for adoptions and welcoming guests to come and visit! We have plenty of dogs, cats, kittens, and pocket pets waiting to find their forever homes!

We are also always looking for more foster homes. Those interested in fostering can find more information at www.peninsulaanimalshelter.com
