Furry Friday: Leo is Up For Adoption at Norfolk SPCA

Leo is a 7-year-old Pitbull Mix who LOVES walks. You’ll see his excitement running through his body as soon as he sees his leash! Once he’s out and about, Leo enjoys sniffing everything in his path to learn Every. Smell. Possible. He’s a sweet boy that melts into your arms with a neck rub and a treat! The team at the Norfolk SPCA Adoption Center & Veterinary Clinics wants to get this hunk into a loving home where he feels loved and appreciated. He deserves it!

The Norfolk SPCA is operating via Curbside Assistance, and for safety, we are limiting the number of people inside our shelter at one time. When you arrive at the Norfolk SPCA, adopters will be greeted outdoors by a CARE Team member. You will be given a number to be placed on your windshield and you will be asked to wait in your car. Our staff will call you on your phone to let you know you are next. You must have a mask to enter our building. Adoption counseling and completion of paperwork will also take place outside–we are there to help you through the process.

Our Adoption Center is open from 1:00 PM – 4:30 PM every Monday, and Wednesday – Sunday. Closed Tuesdays for staff training, shelter repair and renovation projects and animal enrichment.

If you can’t adopt, you can support the shelter by donating.  Check out the shelter’s wish list to see items in need. https://amzn.to/3fSpHyh
