“The Price Is Right” is heading back into production for the first time since the initial COVID-19 lockdown but there will be some changes.
For the first time in 45 years, you won’t see an audience full of people as the announcer calls “Come on down!”
Instead, the contestants will know in advance they are appearing on the show.
Unlike other shows, “The Price Is Right” can’t do virtual audiences because there’s no way they could’ve ensured that audience members weren’t looking up the prices online.
The good news, all 77 games back will be back and contestants will be able to play while maintaining social distancing.
