Brad Paisley Sends Nashville Bombing Victim a New Guitar

Brad Paisley quietly helped a fellow musician affected by last week’s tragic Christmas bombing in Nashville.

Buck McCoy was in his apartment when the bomb exploded in Nashville on Christmas Day. Buck made it out safely but most of his stuff was destroyed.

That included his car, his clothes, and his musical equipment. When Brad heard about it, he offered him unlimited groceries from his nonprofit, The Store, and hooked him up with a brand new guitar so he could get back to playing and making a living.

Buck told People magazine that Brad signed the guitar and left a note on it reading, “Buck, twang on pal. Glad you’re still here.”  He also added, “Thank you so much Brad, this is a dream come true. I really appreciate you sending me this guitar. I will treasure it forever.”
