Jordan Davis will release a new EP, Buy Dirt, on May 21 and he enlisted Luke Bryan on its title track!

Davis says that the two have met up at various golf tournaments over the years.

“We sat around the fire after a golf tournament one day, smoking cigars and talking about everything but music,” Davis said. “That conversation always stuck with me. Luke isn’t just a great entertainer; he’s a great Dad, a great husband, and a great friend, too. That’s what ’Buy Dirt’ embodies. When I wrote ’Buy Dirt,’ I knew he could relate to the song’s message. I took a chance and asked him to join me on the recording, and he said yes.”

Buy Dirt is his follow-up to last year’s self-titled EP and his debut album Home State. Davis co-wrote every song on the EP except for the John Prine-inspired “Blow Up Your TV,” who is a major influence on Davis and his music.

Davis will be joining another artist on tour this year, he’s hitting the road with Kane Brown on the Blessed and Free Tour.
