Bella is a 5-year-old Pit Bull Terrier who came to Chesapeake Animal Services in March.

She enjoys walks, treats, and cuddles from her person. Bella has a mass on her hind right hip that will be surgically removed at the end of this month thanks to the generosity of contributors to our medical fund.

Bella is spayed, microchipped, dewormed, and up to date on her rabies and DHPP vaccines. She is heartworm negative.

Chesapeake Animal Services is located at 2100 S Military Highway. Current adoption and visitation hours are: Mon, Thurs, Fri, Sat 10am-4pm, Tuesday 12-6pm, Sunday 12-4pm, and closed on Wednesdays and holidays.

CAS is also holding a “Spring into Summer” Medical Fund raffle 5/17-5/23 at the shelter. 11 baskets will be raffled off and proceeds will benefit the medical fund, which helps pay for additional veterinary services for sick or injured animals that come to CAS. Photos of the baskets will be posted on the Chesapeake Animal Services Facebook Event page   https://fb.me/e/1lW6TTyRn . Tickets are $1 each or 6 for $5 and can be purchased in-person at the shelter during open hours.
