Anheuser-Busch to Give Away Free Beer When America Hits Vaccination Goal

To help reach his goal of 70% of adult Americans vaccinated with at least one dose by July Fourth,  June has been declared a “national month of action.”

To help reach that goal, pharmacies like Albertsons, CVS, Rite-Aid and Walgreens, will now be open 24 hours on Fridays to boost the number of vaccinations. Uber and Lyft are offering free rides to vaccination sites. In addition, KinderCare, Learning Care Group, the YMCA, and Bright Horizons will offer free drop-in child care to all parents and caregivers getting vaccinated or recovering from a shot.

Anheuser-Busch said on Wednesday that it would offer Americans another incentive to get vaccinated: free beer.

The company said in a statement that it would “buy America’s next round” of beer, seltzer or nonalcoholic beverage once the country reached President Biden’s goal of having 70 percent of the adult population get at least one coronavirus vaccination by July 4. According to The New York Times, 63 percent of adult Americans have received at least one dose.
