Prince Harry and his wife Meghan, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, have welcomed their second child, daughter Lilibet Diana.
Harry and Meghan released a statement Sunday (June 6) morning announcing the arrival to the whole world.
“Lili is named after her great-grandmother, Her Majesty The Queen, whose family nickname is Lilibet,” the statement said. “Her middle name, Diana, was chosen to honor her beloved late grandmother, The Princess of Wales.”
Lilibet Diana was born Friday at the Santa Barbra Cottage Hospital in Santa Barbra, California. Both Lili and Meghan are healthy and settling back at home.
A message on the Archewell website reads: “For those inquiring on sending gifts, we would ask that you support or learn more about these organisations working for women and girls: Girls Inc., Harvest Home, CAMFED or Myna Mahila Foundation.”
