Luke Combs played Country Jam in Colorado over the 4th of July weekend and shared pics from the packed concert.
In one photo, Luke can be seen with a young fan onstage. That young fan is 10-year-old Jace Rodgers. “He had a little sign that said. ‘I want to sing with you.’ That’s all he had, and he was holding his little sign up,” his mother, Mickie Fisher told Western Colorado’s Grand Junction Daily Sentinel.
“He’s just a regular little boy,” Fisher added. “He finds his love through music, he really does. He’ll sing all day long. That boy wakes up in the morning, and that’s all he does is sing, sing, sing. And he’s happy just singing.”
She said she was incredibly grateful for the kindness of everyone in the crowd. “We went, and everybody was pushing Jace right up to the front. They were like, ‘Come here. Stand here!’ In the end, they wanted him to come on stage and (Combs) just reached down there and picked him up like he was nothing.”
