It only makes sense that this freak of nature trout was caught close to Australia in New Zealand.

Seamus Petrie is the guy’s name who caught this beast. What a name, Seamus! He’s since had the monster trout stuffed and mounted on a wall at a local bar. Here’s the thing, everyone thinks it’s fake because it is so big. The record-breaking trout weighed in at a staggering 44lbs 5oz. That’s the biggest fish I ever saw!
