Suffolk Peanut Fest Set to Return This Fall

The Suffolk Peanut Fest is back!

The 43rd annual festival will take place at the Suffolk Executive Airport from Oct. 8-10 celebrating “Music, Mullets & Motorsports — A Totally 80s Vibe!”

The three-day event will include live music, featuring famous tribute bands that will play popular 80s music.  A second stage in the new “Open Air Peanut Lounge” will offer a variety of entertainment, ranging from local school music programs, champion clogging teams to regional musicians and bands. 

New for 2021 will be a Roller Rink for showing off your best 1980’s skating moves, a Touch-A-Truck, enhanced straw maze and family area, and more.

Traditional activities such as the carnival and amusements, fireworks, Peanut Butter Sculpting Contest, Swamp Roar Motorcycle Rally, Arts & Crafts, Petting Zoo, etc. are also planned.

Suffolk Ruritan Club’s Shrimp Feast will move to Friday, October 8, 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and the Suffolk Demolition Derby will move to Saturday, October 9, at 11:30 a.m. with a Kids Power Wheel Derby thirty minutes prior to the main derby.

Festival general admission costs $10 per person, but children ages 10 and younger are free. Military families with proper ID will get 50% off their admission in honor of Military Appreciation Day on Oct. 10.
