Carrie Underwood Brings Out Surprise Guest, Dwight Yoakam, at CMA Summer Jam {WATCH}

On Tuesday, the Country Music Association kicked off the “CMA Summer Jam” at Nashville’s Ascend Amphitheater.

The two-night, all-star event is being filmed for a prime time ABC special in September. Blake Shelton, Carrie Underwood, Luke Bryan, Luke Combs and Miranda Lambert join the all-star lineup, along with Jimmie Allen, Carly Pearce and Mickey Guyton.

Carrie Underwood closed out the first night of shows on Tuesday night (July 27) and surprised fans with special guest Dwight Yoakam!

The pair performed Yoakam’s 1983 hit “A Thousand Miles From Nowhere.”
