Faith Hill and Tim McGraw have been cast as leads for the Paramount+ series 1883, a prequel to its hit series Yellowstone.
Sam Elliott will also star in the series, which follows the Dutton family’s journey west to Montana.
The couple will play James and Margaret Dutton. The series was created by Taylor Sheridan. “Taylor has found a way of storytelling that brilliantly creates these epic dramas and family sagas with so much depth and creativity,” McGraw says, calling the role a “dream job.” Adds Hill, “The Duttons are a formidable family…I am humbled and honored to work with Taylor and his entire team.”
