Duke Was Found Living in a Garage in Hampton, Now His Story Could Help Others
August 6, 2021
Duke was taken in by Peninsula Regional Animal Shelter after being found living in a garage in Hampton, Virginia.
He visited 97.3 The Eagle’s Stephanie Taylor for ‘Furry Friday’ and was quickly adopted after an Eagle listener saw the video.
He still has a lot of friends who need your help! Adoption fees are currently only $25 with PRAS’s Back-to-School Adoption special through August 22nd.
A great way to help the animals at the shelter if you can’t adopt is by volunteering! PRAS has a volunteer orientation coming up August 11th and September 1st from 6-8:30pm
You can also take a dog out for a day to enjoy some time at the park, beach or #pupachino on an ‘Expawdition.’
Volunteers are essential to our shelters. They help keep the animals happy and help us learn more about their personalities outside of the shelter.
Duke went on an ‘expawdition’ to the oceanfront get some doggie ice cream at Salty Paws. He got to choose his own and he clearly enjoyed it.
