Chris and Morgane Stapleton Help Family Who Lost Twins in Floodwaters

Chris Stapleton and his wife, Morgane, stepped in to help a family after floodwaters swept through Middle Tennessee this past weekend, leaving at least 21 dead and numerous others still missing.

The death toll included seven-month old twins Ryan and Rileigh, who were swept out of their father’s arms in Humphreys County as he tried to get them to safety.

Friends of the family set up a GoFundMe page  to help with funeral expenses and to rebuild their lives after their home lost.  One of the top donors was Morgane Stapleton, who made a $10,000 donation.

The family shared an update on the GoFundMe page saying, “I just wanted to say how thankful our family is for everybody donating and supporting us at this very difficult time.

You all are like angels to us right now and we appreciate everything everyone has done. It is things like this of everyone helping that gets us through such hard times in life.”
