Jason Aldean shared a tribute to the 13 men and women of the U.S. military who were killed in Afghanistan last month.
The video is set to his song “Drink One for Me” and includes photos of the fallen heroes Lance Cpl. David Lee Espinoza, Sgt. Nicole Gee, Staff Sgt. Taylor Hoover, Staff Sgt. Ryan Knauss, Lance Cpl. Rylee McCollum, Cpl. Hunter Lopez, Lance Cpl. Dylan R. Merola, Lance Cpl. Kareem Nikoui, Sgt. Johanny Rosario Pichardo, Cpl. Humberto Sanchez, Cpl. Daegan William-Tyeler Page, Lance Cpl. Jared Schmitz, and Seaman Maxton “Max” Soviak, 22, of Ohio.
“Coming from a Military family, it’s been tough to find the words to express how I feel for what’s happened in Afghanistan,” he writes. “It’s heartbreaking and unforgivable. We appreciate your service and thank you all for your sacrifice.”
